Well started out that my fuel pump went out of my GMC towing this load of scrap into town.

To shorten an otherwise long story, the truck and trailer got left north of Millers One Stop off Hwy 2, we got a ride to my house, grabbed another fuel pump and drove back up in my Stepside.

Got to the Y and my friend called telling me his Corvette (which he had loaned out) had rolled down the hill at our old High School and was in a ditch.

So we diverted to Colbert, and winched out ...

Yeah, ok, so not fully.

So here's my shortened and very NON-exciting tale from my latest loop trip to Seattle/Portland and back. Wednesday a friend and I left Spokane at 7am, then got to Woodinville, Wa. after noon, and dropped off my friend who was buying a Honda Motorcycle and rode it back the same day.

I visited some friends, sold some parts, then headed to Portland yesterday to drop off and sell a few more parts and pick up a $75 396 big block motor core and a $60 set ...

Should I get a Toyota? I guess I already have one (The Landcruiser) but this one ('79 truck) would be more of a put-around rig with a Buick V6 already in it, it has a lift (the front springs that came from my Landcruiser), has the original Toyota axles, and T-case. Hmmm I'll have to think about this.

The Truck Blazer 1999 vs 2008

I was just looking at the original picture of the Truck Blazer as I got it in 1999. On 33" tires, 1/2 ton axles, 5" of lift and a 350, verses now on 44" Boggers, 1-ton axles, 13" of lift and a 496.

You know... 9 years later... those original yellow painted headlight buckets it came with finally make sense. Think I should put them back on?

Ok, since Allan brought up that I was making progress (not really that much, too many Star Trek breaks on a really hot 4th weekend), I thought I'd through up the Muck Up pics.

Because I had to work out of town this weekend, I'm behind schedule. Next is to pull the sub frame out from under the front of the pontiac and assemble the D60 Front and pull the eaton rear out of a motor home and get the two axles under the blazer frame.

Finally got my original 2wd red '78 that I converted to 4x4 in 2000, re-converted again but this time on a true K30 frame, and with a Dana 60, 14-bolt, 350, SM465, NP205. This was ...
