My first run absolutely was an emberassment! I was in high range, and my trans wouldnt go into first gear. Needless to say, I could have walked faster. After that, it did well. I almost caught Allan at the end of the pit. His stepside is fast! I ended up taking 3rd in mod, Allan took 2nd, and I think it was Chris? that took 1st. We had a lot of fun. He is doing it strictly as a volunteer... I guess previous years it was highly disorganized so he is bringing order to it. 120 foot long pits with plenty of slow down area at the ends, trophies for at least five classes, timed runs. Let's show some support to Sam. Poor bastard... still hasn't fixed the rear end he blew out in his race Jeep so he might be going to yet another of his own races as a spectator!
