It was a really good turn out. My first run absolutely was an emberassment! I was in high range, and my trans wouldnt go into first gear. Needless to say, I could have walked faster. After that, it did well. I almost caught Allan at the end of the pit. His stepside is fast! I ended up taking 3rd in mod, Allan took 2nd, and I think it was Chris? that took 1st. We had a lot of fun. Looking forward to going again soon!

carb questions

Im looking into changing out carbs. Im not happy with the stock q-jet and thinking of edlebrock. How much difference is there between a 600 and 650 cfm? Should I spend the extra money for the thunder series or stick with the performer which is $100 less. See everyone at Big Al's this weekend.

I am going to put 4.10 gears into my old turd Bronco this year. I already have a mini- spool for the rear. I am not gonna spend the money for a front locker though- I am just way too cheap. So what should I do? Run open gears in front or should I weld them?

All most done, yea I pulled the bad to bone 350 and 350 trans, and droped in a 468 BBC, with a 700R4 tranz (need that low first gear) we got a locker in the rear, stands on 40's boggers.
